Diamond: it’s tough, it’s long lasting, and it’s beautiful. As the Ascension Church celebrates our Diamond Anniversary, marking 60 years in Westdene we will be recalling these qualities which are central in God’s word: his love and commitment, unchanging, rock solid, and full of grace. We would like to invite you to join us on Sunday 18th Feb 2018 for our 10.30am service when we will be joined by Rev Martin Lloyd-Williams our archdeacon, as well as past ministers and friends to celebrate the work of Ascension Church over the years and pray for God’s blessing. After there will be a ticketed lunch for £10 with a contribution going towards Kyra Warrell’s surgery.

If you are not able to join with us in February, please consider coming on Sunday 11th March for Mothering Sunday or 18th March for the visit of Bishop Richard - both of which will be rich occasions in our year of celebration. In addition, in February and March we’re inviting all seekers to join us for Life Explored on Thursday evenings, with dessert, chat and an honest openness to questions of life, love, hope, joy, peace and purpose.
